A little bit about Dollyland and what Motivated me to create it.

I am a real big fan of Disney and Dolly Parton, and on top of that I absolutely love amusement parks. This is my ode to the beautiful women and the lovely Dolly world amusement park. At its heart, Dollyland is about what makes a man burn with desire and I thought why not take some facts of my life, the things that make me smile and combine those all into this song. ENJOY.

Hi, I’m Nohl Takahashi

Noel Takahashi is an independent singer songwriter and has been writing music since the early age of 12. When he first heard the voices of Little Richard and Frank Sinatra he knew he was going to love the world of music. Being a graduate of Musicians Institute of Hollywood RIT, he learned about recording engineering and had worked for Maverick Records with the late Bill Dooley. Real music experience from Tokyo Japan where Noel helped as a English songwriter and contributed to the production of major acts from Sony BMG Music, Shibuya Tokyo while under the care and management of Kyoshi Teranishi, owner of My Music Co in Harajuku, Japan.

We believe Primachord Music will breakthrough new grounds of Sonic frequency, unique rock vocal expression and creating the love for real, passionate and human grade constructs of music.

Nohl delivers in the studio. We had Co written the 2019 Censor the Rule album together. Also we Recorded a few Primachord tunes at Spartan Studios. When it comes time to track vocals in the studio there is vocal magic. Delivered with Intensity and surgical precision on vocal tuning most especially. Nohl knows how to project his voice and can be dynamic when you need it. He delivers lyrics and vocals with uniqueness unrivaled and holds skills as a multi instrumentalist as well. Nohl to me is a perfect example of a singer songwriter who can transcend different genres. Rock, folk, country, to pop. He is a strong solo artist as he is as a musical collaborator in a songwriting team. Was a pleasure to work with and definitely brings that creative excitement in the studio.

The vocal parts you’ve been looking for… Nohl comes up with “THE” vocal parts for a track quickly which if any of you know, in the studio world is key. Bringing life to a song with powerful lead vocals that echo the strength of Chris Cornell and melodic elements of Jeff Buckley. No pop cookie cutter lyrics here, he dives deep, always looking for the sonic message whether it be an original of his or session based project. Delivering straight from the soul to the heart.
